İzmir Natural Gas Distribution Inc.

İZMİR NATURAL GAS is the only company authorized to carry out the distribution and transportation of natural gas and local gas pipeline network within the borders of the Dağıtım Distribution Zone an consisting of İzmir and Tire cities whose borders are re-defined by the Metropolitan Municipality Law No. 5216.

İzmir industry first started to use natural gas in 2002.

The houses were made available for use in a ceremony held on 13 July 2006 in Karşıyaka Mavişehir. Thus, İzmir, which ranks third among the metropolitan cities, started to use natural gas in the houses approximately 20 years after Ankara.
